Released in 1990, the Lime Spiders' Beethoven's Fist album is packed full of loud, melody laced, uncompromising rock n roll. This record stands as one of the most complete rock albums to come out of Australia in recent times and is one that you need to hear. On episode 22 of The Australian Rock Show - Lime Spider bassist Phil Hall joins us and we go over Beethoven's Fist in great detail. Not to be missed !

Steve Mulry has been on the Australian rock n roll scene for over three decades, the majority of which – has been spent fronting Sydney outfit Black Label- who are - in the long-held opinion of the Gray Brothers – the best live band in Australia. From the Perth punk scene of the late 70's – through to his time with the Scientists, the Beasts of Bourbon and then the Dubrovniks – Boris Sujdovic has left his mark on Australian rock ‘n’ roll in no uncertain terms. On episode 15 of the Australian Rock Show, Boris talks all things Dubrovniks – from the band’s early days with Roddy Ray’da through to European festival success - and the band’s ultimate demise in 1995 - we leave no stone unturned. Boris also talks about the Dubrovniks reformation in 2015, current plans, and forthcoming European tour.

In the late 80's - four wild looking women from Sydney were blending cleverly written pop songs, pulsating drum rhythms and loud guitars, with amazing results. The band were called the Rum Babas – a unique rock n roll outfit who shoulda been massive.
