However before joining AC/DC in 1974, Bon had done a ten year apprenticeship in bands such as The Spektors,The Valentines and Fraternity. His life and musical legacy is celebrated in a new publication by Jeff Apter titled 'Bad Boy Boogie: The true story of AC/DC legend Bon Scott'.
